BabelSnap lets you use your camera to snap a picture, extract text (Roman alphabet only), and optionally translate the text into other languages.

Capture bits of text from signs, menus, etc. while travelling.

Note: A network connection is needed for image processing and translation, and results are definitely not perfect.

Great in theory, but on my Incredible it just spins it wheels after Snap. Broken.

Excellent app. Worth the money. Only one thing could make it better; offline OCR processing and translation.
