I Like It I Don't Like It Add to my favs
The original Android lightning distance calculator.  Press the top button when you see the flash, press the bottom one when you hear the thunder.  The distance is shown in Miles and KM, up to 20Mi.  

Fun and educational, it's also useful in outdoor sports where lightning may be a hazard (for lifeguards, referees, etc.).

Suggestions welcome.

New feature - Lightning now saves the last 10 measurements.  Press Menu to access the History list (suggested by James B.).

I always wanted to make this app, but I was also going to include a call to the compass and allow you to plot where the lightning theoretically was.

Couldn't update this app on first try. There was some issue at first. Tried again later and it worked. Now all is well.

update 1.3 not signed correctly wont install on moto droid and doesnt work anymore :( but i restored it with appmanager now i got the old version
