When you slide the driod up to use the keyboard and then go back to your home screen the picture doesnt stay croped it zooms in to see only a portion

Everytime I pick a background n set it and then as soon as I flip my droid the other way to open the keyboard the background gets ridiculously big!

Why isn't there little menu option? I need help on figuring out this app. It's confusing & with my "MotoDroid" it shouldn't be this complicated :(
