CORE-Clinical Orthopaedic Exam

The Clinical ORthopedic Exam (CORE) application is a robust reference tool for clinicians from multiple disciplines.  It offers over 250 clinical tests to aid in musculoskeletal and orthopedic diagnosis. It offers descriptions on how to perform each test as originally described by its author, video demonstrations, diagnostic properties (reliability and validity), and links to supporting medical references via abstracts in PUBMed.  

The three main criterion used to select tests that are included in this application were 1) the test must be described/referenced in a peer-reviewed medical journal, 2) the test must be used in the evaluation and diagnosis of musculoskeletal pathology, and 3) the test would be performed by the clinician or as part of clinical evaluation (not include laboratory or diagnostic imaging tests for example).

This app is targeted to anyone that seeing musculoskeletal pathology on a regular basis (primary care, general practiioners, family practice, orthopedic doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, etc.).  It is great for clinicians, students, residents, researchers, and teachers alike.
