This application assigns a fixed domain name to your Android phone even though the IP address can change.
This is the official app for dyndns.com.
For the generic dynamic DNS client that works with all dynamic DNS providers, including no-ip.com, zoneedit.com, joker.com, enom.com, please see my other app.

Thanks. This app works great now. I had to disable the firewall on my providers website. Now I am able to ping this device IP and DNS resolution also works. I am using this app in combination with tethering and Port Forwarder app to run a mobile webserver.

apparently AT&T mobile network uses proxies so my phone cannot be accessed remotely
