Xternal Display for Droid X

Great App but don't count on full 720p awesomeness I'll give this app 5 stars because it does what it advertises - enables HDMI for most things. HOWEVER - don't expect the full HD experience from your phone. The whole purpose of my wanting to enable HDMI-out was to get better video quality on Netflix. I currently stream Netflix on my Wii, connected to my TV via composite video cable. (For those who don't know, a composite connection is the worst possible connection you can use on a TV... it does not even allow 640x480 standard def, let alone 720p or 1080p) The video quality via Wii/Composite is much better than the video quality via Droid-X/HDMI. The Droid introduces far too many mpeg artifacts in the video for it to look really good. The video quality isn't much better when you play video files via the gallery using the Droid's built-in HDMI software, so I'm guessing this is a hardware limitation. The point is, don't expect a home theater in your pocket. It is, however, useful for when you have a cheap HDMI cable and want to present something to a large number of people.

IT WORKS! Yes the phone screen freezes BUT it still works as the dev stated. You people need to learn to read 1st. SMH. Our DX has hardware limitations - this app does all that Motorola's hardware can do on this device.

This app sucks Doesn't work at all. As soon as I hit play it stops showing on the TV and goes back to the phone display.

Please fix. Cant download to droid bionic anymore says missing shared library.

Worked great till... Driod Bionic update came out. Please update app!

Droid bionic Was working great until I did the latest update. Now I get a missing shared library error. Please fix!!!! This app is a must have if you stream any video including the verizon NFL app. Worked with the lapdoc as well prior to the new update.
