*OPEN HELP FIRST
*If you're @ a PC, it'll screw with the readings, so set it on a desk, zero, then wave stuff on top of it.
*It can't detect some stuff like aluminum.

It doesn't detect actual metal. It just goes with the direction you lean it in. Nexus S

Requires a bit of config for my HTC Vision(sensitivity 7 or 8). Works fine otherwise.

This does detect metal works fine on my Huawei assend. It will pick up magnetic fields so will also detect any electronic devices and magnets.
