MaplePaint is a vector based drawing application for Android based phones and tablets that can be used for journaling/note taking. It reads and writes standard SVG graphics so written notes can be consumed with other SVG tools (e.g. Firefox, Chrome).

Maplepaint is a promising app, but hasn't delivered yet. There are no tools for the simple adding of a box or oval, or editing a line.

Really good when making a new file, but on my Vibrant files are jumbled on opening. Also text doesn't appear. Fix these it's a 5 for sure

Text works for me on Vibrant. Handwritten notes jumbled on reopen; groups of lines get moved. Get error when overwriting that file exists. Way cool.
