RockPlayer is high performance, almost all formats media player with a lot of functions. It saves your time and disk space to transcoding or format converting. Just put your video on sdcard or click the URL in browser to watch it.

It load .srt external subtitle with same name of video automatically and support .m3u playlist.

Lite version is advertisement support. Per Google request, we no longer distribute PayPal pay-able version through Google Android Market, existed user please check updates in app setting to get continuous support. If you are interesting in advertisement free version, please visit our website http://www.rockplayer.com , basically we will publish a Market pay-able version once we are allowed to be merchant.

LGPLed FFmpeg components are dynamic linked, source are available on our website.

WAS my go to player Rock player WAS my go-to video player for Android, but the last update was definitely not an improvement. Like an earlier reviewer said, previously playable AVIs no longer play. Forced me to look elsewhere. Try Arc Lite or the new VLC beta

Bulletproof If you have a video android won't play, this app on software mode will play anything. Loses a star for ugly UI.

Works but not well Plays files, but they are not clear. Very pixelated and distorted. Didn't use to be that way. Will wait for next update and try again.

Only plays some Videos not all flv. it is a data hog! 256MB Foreground and 42.24MB background! This app uses more than google play music and I use that to stream music!

App is crap The application had great reviews and was supposed to play xvid files. The app would not open my extSdCard and I had to go finding it. Would not play any files I threw at it and never seemed to want to work. Worst use of my b/w yet to date!
