This free version will never expire is not crippled in any way. It does contain ads at the bottom of the screen to help support development. A version called "Sleepmeter" is available on the market that will cost you a few coins but doesn't have ads.
Yes. I do read your comments. The good folks at Google don't provide me any way to retort vitriol posted in application comments or even contact the commenter, so I'm forced to do it publicly here.
Dear shahram:
In response to your comment: "Don't know how this program is a meter while it all depends on user inputs Mr developer, your arrogance is all over the place, change ur perception."
I can't get it read brain waves yet. "Hell no!" to that other part.
Dear magz:
In response to your comment: "I had to comment, ur a legend! I have x 10 and force closes. Is this normal? Again ur a legend :-)"
I'm not a legend. I'm just an idiot with mental problems, poor social skills, and a silly app. Force closing is not normal on an X10 or any other device. If you get a dialog with an option to submit the crash report through the market, please do it so I can fix whatever is wrong. Again, I'm not a legend.
Dear Mason:
In response to your comment: "I spend 12.5% of my life sleeping beat that"
While I don't view one's sleep habits as a matter of contest, I am either terribly impressed or concerned for your well being. I can't decide which.
Dear Willem:
In response to your comment: "Hier heb je dus echt niets aan"
Kennis is macht.
Dear Emmet D:
In response to your comment, "Having to enter all this info is enough to keep me up all night!"
While I do find that comment amusing, there are only 3 things you have to enter (sleep time, wake time, and type (nap/night sleep)). The rest is optional. If you don't care, don't enter it. Once you get used to it, it should take less than 10 seconds to enter most sleep periods if you have the thing configured optimally.
Dear Chloe:
In response to your comment: "Does not import SleepBot data even after I just exported from SleepBot."
You are welcome to complain about whatever you like in the market comments, but it is much more helpful to contact me via e-mail so I can get more detailed information from you in order to figure out what is wrong and actually do something about a problem. I think I fixed this issue in 1.5.2 thanks to Shane L. who pointed out that the date format in SleepBot CSVs is configurable. It should work with all formats in versions >= 1.5.2 of this app. Also, it cannot import SleepBot data backups. You have to export your SleepBot data as a CSV using Tracker->Manage Entries->Export.
Dear williams:
In response to your comment: "Nothing is working"
Glad to hear it. Nothing is a critical feature, so it would suck if it wasn't working.
Dear anyone unlucky enough to have a Samsung Galaxy S:
Your device might be broken. Samsung screwed up Android 2.2 on this device to the point where they broke shared preferences. Said feature is critical to most apps. It's where apps keep their settings. Your device resets the settings by itself. This problem is fairly serious and makes my app and many others terribly annoying to use if not mostly useless. I hope they fix it soon.
