Read aloud from your ebook, navigation, translation and other apps using the UK English "Oliver" voice.

Works great with Google Navigation on Android 2.2.

Download free Text-to-Speech Engine separately.

Follow these steps to set up your voice:
1) Install and run this app
2) Install free Classic Text To Speech Engine if you haven't already done so
3) Go to Android Settings -> Voice Input&Output -> Text-to-speech settings, activate SvoxClassic at the bottom of the screen, then select SvoxClassic as the Default Engine.

NEEDS SORTING WARNING THE PREVIEW SOUNDS GREAT BUT THE VOICE YOU GET SOUNDS ROBOTIC AND A LOT OF CRACKLING THE FRENCH & GERMAN ARE FINE SO OLIVER SORT YOURSELF OUT!

DIstorted Weird artifacts in the 2K-4K range. Still sounds like a robot. Google's Jelly bean has a great English voice better than this for free.

Not good enough! The UK Oliver voice sounds very warbly. I was hoping for much more. Ivona is streets ahead of this. I'm using it with a Nexus 7 with JB 4.2 with FB Reader. Maybe it's not compatible but something is very wrong!

No matter how much tweaking I do... The voice is distorted. I would really like this to work coz it's a good voice for reading nonfiction books. I hope it can be as smooth as Victoria.

Update broke google maps Recent update broke any svox voice to work on Google Maps had to go back to last backup of voices. Its just the voices update and not the svox tts app. Running ICS on my transformer and G2 both rooted and both were working great before update. Thank goodness for titanium backup it saved the day. Dev please fix like using your voices with Google Maps going to block updates till this is fixed. only one star.
