TED

Love the content available but app is unstable I love the content available via TED however the Android app is unstable. Very often when downloading videos for offline viewing the app will notify the user that the content has downloaded and then not make the content available via the app. It's likely the content never downloaded in the first place as it's not present in the TED directory within the Android file system either. It would be nice to see some UI enhancements that take advantage of modern Android devices. I'd personally love to see some animated swipe integration, particularly so the user can pull up content whilst a video is playing, and not be forced to stop the video. Would love to be able to sign in to the TED website via the app and synchronise settings, preferences and content his way.

TED App brings enlightenment on the go... Since Jan 2013 I have been consuming TED Talks via my Samsung S III. Considering the relatively bigger screen and powerful processing ability of the S III, there is absolutely no lag. Brilliance of the app lies in simple to understand - LAYOUT which divides Talks into Featured, All Talks & My Talks. when you stream a video, you can easily BOOKMARK it, DOWNLOAD (which goes to My Talk) & SHARE (social network, etc.) - 3 Downloading options:- Low Quality, High Quality & Audio - The subtitles works wonderfully and is also available for offline viewing if you've downloaded the video. (You have to view it via the App, but projected through the inbuilt video player) I'm enjoying the talk on-the-go. The only disappointment is not all the talks are available compared to the website. Also I do not know if there is an option to save videos on SD card, because currently I haven't installed one and all videos are saved on my relatively huge (11 GB) available phone memory. 4.5 Stars because ALL apps aren't available.

Much improved. I got this app way back and immediately uninstalled it because it was awful. The a lot of content was missing and the UI was atrocious. I just gave it another shot and I am very impressed. Massive improvements to talk navigation. Also I haven't noticed any of my favorite talks missing as of yet.

Please add audio only Please would you add audio only to the talks, I don't really want to kill my battery listening to a inspiring talk

TED is amazing and so informative I learn so much from this app and the video and sound quality of the videos are stunning. A beautiful app all around:)
