Locale GPS Plug-in

I Like It I Don't Like It Add to my favs
This allows you to disable GPS system-wide.  This is the exact same option as seen in the Android location settings.  This plug-in will NOT help Locale to determine your location.

This plug-in is possible because of an undocumented Android security loophole, and therefore comes with absolutely no support whatsoever.


Locale GPS Plug-in was developed for Android by two forty four a.m. LLC

Package name : com.twofortyfouram.locale.setting.gps

System permissions : 1 Click here to show/hide list
  • android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION

One week of use on my N1 and it has been perfect. I auto turn off GPS while at home and in the office based on SSID.
