Locale Sync Plug-in

With Locale and the Sync Plug-in, your phone can automatically toggle Auto-sync/Background Data to improve battery life.  Battery low?  Turn Auto-sync off.  Plugged-in?  Turn Auto-sync back on!

This uses undocumented Android APIs, so it comes with absolutely no support whatsoever.

This is a plug-in: it requires "Locale."

Locale Sync Plug-in was developed for Android by two forty four a.m. LLC

Package name : com.twofortyfouram.locale.setting.sync

System permissions : 1 Click here to show/hide list
  • android.permission.WRITE_SYNC_SETTINGS

Turns off background sync and auto sync but only turns on background sync on Droid.

Works great on 1.5. I have the autosync turn on while plugged in, and off when unplugged. Verified functionality for a couple days, & it works great!
