The Vlingo Keyboard was taken out of the latest version, but you can again replicate the functionality if you have Android 2.2 or higher:
1. Go to Settings
2. Select Voice input & output
3. Select Vlingo under the Voice Recognizer drop down

Then you can access Vlingo via the microphone button on whatever keyboard you use!

Vlingo is Significantly Better Tremendously disappointed with Dragon. What is the point of “High Quality Text to Speech” if it isn’t used for answers to simple questions. Using webpages to answer questions severely reduces the usability of this software. Even for simple questions, searching for “What time is it” on Google is not an acceptable action to take when one asks for the time. Even Vlingo knew how to tell you what time it was! To make matters worse, I paid for Vlingo and can nolonger download it. I also can’t easily download Dragon because I am in Canada and Google Play says it is not available for my Country. I had to use an American VPS just to download it! Dragon is also missing one of the most useful components of Vlingo; Vlingo InCar. What made this software so useful is that you could use it, without looking at the phone or tablet what-so-ever. My only issue with InCar was that if it didn’t understand you it tried to Google it, and you couldn’t tell it to cancel, you actually had to press cancel. As far as I am concerned, Vlingo was superior to Dragon, anyone switching to Dragon is taking a major feature downgrade. The ads for Vlingo were also better.

Dragon, you say? I will try this app again now that Dragon has taken over! I loved it a couple yrs ago, then I got very disappointed in it - I look forward to trying it again!

Being free is fantastic! Will be nice if as it is able to turn on once connection to the Bluetooth device is detected, it will turn off as the Bluetooth device is turned off.

No longer working Had this since before Siri existed. This used to recognise my NZ accent perfectly while driving. No longer does. Uninstalling.
