No app requirements The simple fact that the app does not to want to read all of my information blew my mind. 5 starts before I even open the app.

Great Free App Game plays great. Not as fast as a mouse based version, but play anywhere, with no ads. I've drained more than a few batteries with this app. Could be improved with; a 'no flag' version (have to flag all mines as it exists now, even if board is otherwise complete) and on-line 'top scores listing', so you'd know how slow you really are, or could compete with friends. Easier to view stats and best times listings. Top 20 times per board / level are nice, but slow to access. 3bv stats not recorded. Users requesting 'long press for flag' don't seem to understand the the principle of 'chording' to reveal multiple squares... or they might change their tune.

*The* Minesweeper for Android There's not much more that I can say about this app. It's flawless. The "monochromatic" theme looks great in Android 4.x. And the controls are very comfortable and fast (read the FAQ or watch the video if you're still long-pressing everywhere!). A standout among all the other lacklustre minesweeper clones.
