Sound level meter uses your phone mic to measure noise volumn in decibels(dB) and shows a reference. No ad.

The most mics were aligned to human voice(300-3,400 Hz). So an error may occur and the hardware max value is LIMITED.

* Moto Droid(Max.100),GalaxyS (Max.81) and Desire are calibrated by the actual sound level meter.

Recent changes:
- v1.1 : HTC Desire calibrated. mean value, upside-down mode

not support Xperia (X8, X10 mini pro), LG(ultimate,optimus1)

Good app!!! I have to say I really enjoy this app I have had it for around 3 years. I use this free app on outside concerts never had problems with it and fairly close to my $250 one.

Not sure if accurate Tells me its up to 50db in a room with no noise. That cant be right

Great app - edited I have used it to adjust motorcycle exhaust noise level. Great app. EDIT: recent updates continue to cause this app to freeze. i will uninstall and use another.
