Click on it to set the ringer mode / volume.

Kept force closing when I needed to quickly lower volume of ringer.

useful but needs to control media volume also

widget activates a slider that ranges from silent to vibrate then slides from 1 to max on main volume. Nice widget, but I was looking for a toggle.
