Aldiko Book Reader

What, no two column layout? I have tried this app several times, but never stuck with it. The reason? Well for various reasons I have a hard time liking this app. First of all, why the front screen with the icons for selecting different functions? Why not start out in the bookshelf view (or list view)? I have to hit that button every time I start up? Why? The real deal breaker for me, though, is the lack of two column layout in the landscape view. To be like a traditional book, I don't want to have to scan the entire width of the screen when reading. My dyslexia doesn't like that... I tend to lose the line I was on or end up reading the same line over again. A setting for the user's default view and a two-column layout in landscape would make it my favorite reader. For now, it's going to be FBReader (though its UI needs A LOT of work to make it friendly).
